At Oak Ridge, we have a long history of a highly engaged parent and teaching staff who work together to improve our students' experience. Being a PTA member not only gives a voice in decisions that impact our school, but helps fund the many activities planned each year. Membership helps to ensure local, regional, and state efforts to promote the education and well-being of all children in our area by working with families, educators, business and community leaders, and the legislature to ensure child-related concerns are being met. Our PTA is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.

HAVE A VOICE Being part of PTA is how YOU can make change at Oak Ridge. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.
SET AN EXAMPLE Joining PTA assures your children that you are personally and actively engaged in their world at school. It also sets a great example for how banding with others can get things done. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
